  • Learning Beyond Boundaries

Nowadays, it feels like learning and mastering things has become easier due to platforms like YouTube.

YouTube, the second largest search engine after Google, has been a valuable resource for me. I have gained knowledge in various areas such as learning Spanish, improving my basketball shooting skills, understanding diets and workouts, finding solutions to car problems, and even enhancing my cooking abilities.

The access to these informative videos makes life seem more manageable and achievable. However, it is important to acknowledge that even before the existence of YouTube, there were other valuable resources available.

The key lies in our willingness to put in effort and seek out these resources. YouTube is simply a tool that can be used in many different ways. Personally, I choose to utilize it for learning and personal growth.

The desire, effort, and consistency we put into our pursuits are what truly matters. Whatever we aspire to do or learn in life, guidance and knowledge are within reach. They may be found on YouTube, in books, through mentors, or even through spiritual sources.

The important thing is to recognize that these resources are readily available and more accessible than we may think. I encourage you to explore and experience this for yourself.

  • Action-Filled Prayers

God hears and answers our prayers.

Praying involves talking to Him in our hearts, sharing our feelings, thoughts, and seeking guidance or help.

It extends beyond words to actions, as God has made promises based on our actions, promising blessings for certain actions and consequences for others.

Considering recent life activity, what have you been praying and asking God for, and are you content with that?

  • Power of Knowledge

Knowledge is power; that’s why we place significant value on individuals who possess expertise in specific areas where we lack knowledge.

Whether it’s our car mechanic, barber, doctor, veterinarian, or others, we often rely on them for their superior knowledge. Consequently, we find ourselves vulnerable, dependent on their expertise. Without the necessary knowledge, advocating for ourselves or making sound decisions becomes challenging.

The good news is that we can acquire knowledge in any field and seek trusted individuals who can assist us in making informed choices.

If there is a weak point or a problem troubling us, combating it can be achieved through increased knowledge and understanding. Therefore, it is crucial to continue learning and expanding our knowledge, as the benefits from our efforts will be powerful.

  • Challenges and Blessings

Even in your darkest moments, during the most challenging times of your life, you still have many blessings to count and be thankful for.

The hard time you’re going through can even be a blessing in disguise. I know it’s hard to think about the good during the bad times, but we must. It keeps everything in perspective and gives you the strength to overcome. It shows that there’s always a silver lining, and the tough times don’t last forever.

It’s easy to count your blessings when everything is going right. Count them when things aren’t going well and have faith that many more will come.

  • Excuses: Breaking the Cycle

A quote that I like that a coach would always tell us is “excuses only satisfy those who make them.”

Excuses may satisfy only those who make them, but they harm everyone around. Your actions affect others. When you don’t meet expectations, you disappoint yourself and others. Excuses have a negative impact.

Instead, be accountable, seek solutions, and think of those who depend on you. Don’t let excuses hurt them or yourself. No more excuses.

  • Beyond Underdog Limitations

No matter the situation, you never have to be the underdog.

Being the underdog simply means others expect you to lose or face significant challenges. However, their thoughts and opinions do not have to define your reality.

The only time you truly become an underdog is when you start believing it yourself.

Always maintain faith in your skills, abilities, and self. You have the power to reject the underdog label if you choose. And for those who perceive you as one, you can prove them wrong as you progress.

  • Intentional Pursuits

I have been waking up earlier than usual for the past few weeks, even on weekends when I don’t have many morning obligations. I realized the benefits of waking up early in life and made a deliberate decision to do so. Now, it has become effortless for me.

Often, we complicate things unnecessarily. We may desire something but find excuses for not pursuing it or fail to take deliberate actions to achieve our goals.

Let’s avoid overcomplicating things. If you want something, think about the necessary actions and then act deliberately. Stay consistent, and eventually, you will achieve whatever you set out to do. Things are much simpler than we perceive them to be.

  • Stick To The Script

In football, teams often create a script for their initial 15 offensive plays, which is based on studying their opponents. These plays serve to challenge the defense and benefit the team.

The first 15 play script sets the tone for the game. The important thing about the script is to adhere to it. Even if the first 3 plays don’t work, it’s crucial to persevere and execute the next 12 planned plays. Usually, one or two of those plays will unfold as intended and lead to success.

The key is to maintain confidence and stick to the script. This approach applies to our lives as well. By devising a plan for success and following it, we may encounter unexpected obstacles along the way. However, having faith and staying committed to the script or the principles of success will ultimately lead to triumph. Don’t panic when things don’t go your way, and most importantly, never give up. Stick to the script, and in the end, everything will be fine.

  • Trusting Instincts

Always trust your instincts. If something feels off, there’s likely a valid reason behind it.

Avoid rushing into things. Often, we become so fixated on what we desire that we ignore warning signs. At such times, our morals and values should guide us. Upholding good morals and values can help us avoid many problems.

When we desperately want something, including someone, we may compromise our principles or find ourselves in avoidable situations. Remember that what is meant for you will come naturally. Problems arise when we try to force things.

  • Unwavering Motivation

I often find it easier to have energy and motivation for various tasks at the beginning of the week. However, as the week progresses, I tend to lose momentum.

While I may still accomplish what I set out to do, it may not be as time-efficient, and my attitude towards time may diminish compared to the start of the week.

Many people experience a similar pattern, where they set New Year’s resolutions but struggle to maintain them beyond March. It is important to anticipate and prepare for those days when our drive and enthusiasm may decrease.

By acknowledging that such days will occur, we can push ourselves even harder during those times. This allows us to demonstrate consistent energy and dedication towards our goals.

Go a little harder on the hard days. Those are the ones that count the most.
