Divine Communication: Mastering Listening

I believe that God speaks to all of us if we truly listen.

He can use people as vessels or those gut feelings we experience, or even the synchronicities that occur in our lives. He may also speak to us through learning from our own mistakes and the mistakes of others.

Regardless of the method, God communicates with us. So, if there are times when we feel the opposite, perhaps we aren’t listening. Maybe we need a comprehension skill, similar to what we require for reading. Just like reading comprehension, listening to God is a skill we can develop.

No matter what you believe God is saying to you, ensure that you listen and take appropriate action. Blessings await.

Faithful Uncertainty Journey

There are times when I might not have the answer, but I know what is not the answer. I may not know exactly what to do, but I know what not to do.

There were times when I didn’t know what I wanted to major in while in college, but I knew dropping out wasn’t the answer. There were times in the NFL when I was a free agent and I wasn’t sure what was next with football, but I was sure I couldn’t get out of shape. I had to be ready for every opportunity.

There will be times in life when the vision isn’t always clear, or you don’t have all the answers, but that’s what having faith is about, right? God’s got you no matter what. You might not know what to do, but you can at least not go against God’s teachings. Do your part, handle what you can control, and God will do the rest.

Miracles of Life

Having your first baby is one of the most incredible experiences.

Witnessing the journey from conception to birth is a true miracle that showcases the amazing power of God.

It reminds us of the blessings babies are and how each one is a unique miracle. It’s a reminder that we were all once newborns and that we are all special miracles from God.

This realization ignites a sense of gratitude and motivates us to use our potential for greatness. A baby is a precious gift from God, and their presence continues to bless those around them.

Let us recognize ourselves as gifts and appreciate the other little blessings in our lives, extending beyond babies. The miraculous nature of our birth highlights the greatness of God and reminds us that we can achieve anything through the strength provided by Christ.

Nearing Blessings: Mirror Insight

Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

The things you see in the side mirror of a car may be nearer than they seem. Drivers must be cautious as the objects in the mirror might be closer than they appear, enabling them to accurately assess the distance and make safer driving choices.

This applies to life as well, where it is crucial to make accurate judgments in various situations, including problems and unfortunate circumstances. By making the right decisions, we can evade many difficulties and also realize that good things and blessings are closer than they seem.

It is important to persevere and continue making the right moves on our life journey. Those blessings may appear distant in the mirror, but they are nearer than they seem.

Whether it’s driving or life, control what you can control and make the right moves, allowing you to avoid numerous problems and get closer to your blessings.

Knowing Better, Doing Better

“If you knew better, you’d do better.”

This saying suggests that our actions and decisions are influenced by our level of knowledge and understanding.

In my early life, we experienced poverty. Initially, I didn’t mind, as it was all I knew. However, when we moved to a nice neighborhood and bought a beautiful house, I witnessed a different way of life and new possibilities.

Although we had to return to the poverty-stricken area after a year, my perspective had changed. I had glimpsed another way of life and refused to accept the previous hardship. I knew that the situation was temporary, and I didn’t want to stay in the hood forever.

I had seen too much and knew better.

This realization applies to everything I pursue. Once I see that something is possible, my actions align with that belief.

Sometimes, lack of confidence arises when we haven’t witnessed something being done before. However, it’s important to remember that someone out there has already achieved what you desire. They serve as proof that it’s possible.

Once you learn the necessary actions and decisions, it’s up to you to act. Knowing the answers places the responsibility squarely on your shoulders. Learn from life’s ultimatum, do better once you know better.

Jasmine: My Greatest Blessing

When asked about my greatest accomplishment, many would assume that making it to the NFL holds that title.

It was a childhood dream that required two decades of hard work and dedication to achieve. The feeling of reaching the NFL surpassed all expectations, but surprisingly, it is not my greatest accomplishment.

For me, that honor goes to getting married.

Marriage has always held immense value to me, and building a family of my own is something I’ve always desired. I believe that my character is better understood through my marriage rather than my football career. As a role model, I strive to set a positive example. Choosing to marry is a significant life decision, and I am wholeheartedly proud of my choice in a partner.

My wife, Jasmine, is one of God’s greatest blessings in my life. She brings out the best in me, motivates me, and possesses qualities that make her a remarkable person. She is loving, caring, intelligent, funny, a wonderful mother, and deeply faithful. With her by my side, I know that I can overcome anything.

While I have a deep passion for football and all its experiences, it cannot compare to the joy and fulfillment I feel being with my wife and child.

Sometimes, God grants us blessings that exceed our wildest dreams. Reaching the NFL was one such blessing. However, my wife is a blessing far greater than I could have ever imagined.

Today marks her birthday, and I want her to feel cherished, supported, and loved. Not just today, but every day. On this special day, I wish my earth angel, my wife Jasmine, a very happy birthday. I am proud to call her my wife. I love you, Jasmine. ❤

Lost Wallet Lessons

Yesterday, I misplaced my wallet.

Despite retracing my steps and thoroughly searching, I still couldn’t find my wallet, and I had to come to terms with its loss. While I feel upset about the situation, it’s imperative that I move forward and avoid dwelling on the incident.

There are necessary actions to take, such as canceling my cards and obtaining replacements. The situation remains ongoing, requiring me to pursue the steps essential for a favorable outcome. I can also find valuable lessons from this mishap to minimize the likelihood of future wallet misplacements.

This extends beyond the mere loss of a wallet; disappointments and unfavorable circumstances are inevitable. During such moments, simular to losing my wallet, I must maintain a positive attitude regardless of the circumstances.

It is crucial to always contemplate the next appropriate course of action, refrain from being excessively self-critical, and avoid fixating on my mistakes. I must recognize that there is always room for improvement, and every unfavorable situation offers an opportunity for growth rather than defeat.

Additionally, it is important to understand that the magnitude of my problems is often exaggerated in my perception. I must keep in mind that with the assistance of God and my available resources, I possess the ability to overcome any challenge that comes my way.

Eternal Life Assurance

Do you have life insurance?

Most people would encourage you to have it. You never know what can happen. It can help your family, act as financial protection, and give you peace of mind.

All of those benefits are good, but are they exactly necessary? Not everyone believes in life insurance.

The life insurance that everyone should believe in and invest in is our life after death (or on earth for that matter). Like many believe, there is a God and a heaven. My actions while alive are my real life insurance. They can protect me while I’m alive, as well as help me get to those pearly gates when it’s all said and done.

So it’s good to invest money into life insurance for material gains for your family, but the real life insurance we all should have is how we behave and believe in God and follow His will.

It’s not all about money or any other earthly thing. It’s much bigger than that. Plus, God’s life insurance is free.

Action-Filled Prayers

God hears and answers our prayers.

Praying involves talking to Him in our hearts, sharing our feelings, thoughts, and seeking guidance or help.

It extends beyond words to actions, as God has made promises based on our actions, promising blessings for certain actions and consequences for others.

Considering recent life activity, what have you been praying and asking God for, and are you content with that?
