Mother’s Day is often compared to Christmas, but a gift is only received if a baby has been birthed, lol.
While somewhat true, I believe Mother’s Day is for all women who have fulfilled a maternal role in a child’s life. It is one of the most crucial roles for a child to have present in their life. Something that truly shapes us.
I am grateful to have a great mother, as well as a great wife and mother of my child. Witnessing all that mothers are capable of is amazing.
Mothers help deepen my faith in God. Witnessing the miracle of birth and all the natural gifts God has bestowed upon mothers is astounding. One day could never be enough to show appreciation for all that mothers do, but it is a much-needed day nonetheless. Mothers are truly extraordinary.
