I love bringing my daughter to church every Sunday.
The music, lights, all the people, and the entire environment stimulate her overall cognitive and social-emotional development. Most importantly, it’s building a good foundation for her faith and relationship with God.
Some of my earliest memories are of me going to church with my mom at a very young age. I went on to spend a lot of my adolescent time in the church.
I’m grateful for this because it built a good foundation for me, something that has helped me time and time again throughout my life. It helped shape who I am, my morals, my values, and my character. The teachings from the Bible got me through many trials, tribulations, and times of uncertainty. It’s a blessing to be able to do the same things for my daughter now.
Make sure you are putting yourself and those around you in environments that allow you all to grow into something beneficial and something you’re proud of. Every church visit (or anywhere else you choose to go) matters.
